About Us
Established in 2004
Resolve is an Australian-based specialist consulting firm dedicated exclusively to supporting the not-for-profit sector. We partner with charities, faith-based organisations, and education providers to strengthen governance, people and financial stewardship through both one-off engagements and long-term advisory relationships.
Our Beginning
"Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin."
Zechariah 4:10
Established in 2004, Resolve exists to equip, develop, and sustain healthy not-for-profit organisations.
Resolve. Bibically, to set one’s heart or mind with steadfast intention and to act with faithfulness and perseverance. In music, the movement from dissonance to consonance. As a noun, a firm determination or strength of purpose. As a verb, to solve or end a problem or difficulty.
Resolve is clarity in complexity.
Our name, Resolve, reflects the purpose and posture with which the firm was established. It speaks to the disciplined commitment required to lead organisations well over time.
For organisations entrusted with mission, people and resources, resolve is not simply determination; it is the capacity to act with conviction, wisdom and endurance. Our name captures our commitment to strengthening organisations so they can face challenge, navigate change and remain faithful to their purpose.

Our Approach
We recognise that organisations move through different seasons: growth, transition, challenge and renewal.
Our role adapts to your needs: equipping you with practical tools and frameworks, providing close support during periods of development or change, and helping to embed practices that sustain organisational health and mission over the long term. We support organisations through discrete projects where targeted expertise is required, as well as through longer-term engagements where continuity, trusted partnership and strategic oversight add greater value. In all cases, we work collaboratively. We will journey with you through change, growth, and increasing complexity.
At Resolve, our aim is to strengthen capability rather than create dependency. We seek to equip boards, leaders and organisations with the insight, tools and confidence they need to govern well, lead effectively and steward resources responsibly by drawing on our specialist support when and where it is most beneficial. Our focus is always on helping your organisation remain resilient, credible, and sustainable, so your mission can continue to have lasting impact.
